Thank you for the new statistics, Minglw!

New page

In the links where they take you to the level set's summary page,
what do you think the proper format should be?

Right now, it's mostly:
Solver Statistics - <level set author> | <level set name>

when we know who the author is.
Otherwise, I left the <level set author> to be the level set name.

Do you think the link format should be changd to this?

Solver Statistics - <level set name> | <level set name>

I think the name of the author should be there anywhere. Maybe it's a good idea to add the name in the table:
Collection name, '''Author''', Levels, BoxSearch, Takaken, YASS ?
Solido has used the "tip" template to display the results compacter.
Here it is:
{| class="soko-table" width="100%"
|-
! colspan="50"| XSokoban Statistics
|- bgcolor="#f1efe5" align="center"
| || width="150"|BoxSearch || width="150"|Takaken || width="150"|YASS
|-
| bgcolor="#f1efe5"|failed on these levels where at least one solver solved || count: 36
{{tip| 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 23 , 25 , 27 , 28 , 30 , 31 , 32 , 33 , 34 , 35 , 36 , 37, 39 , 42 , 44 , 45 , 48 , 57 , 61 , 71 , 72 , 73, 74 , 76 , 85 , 87 , 89 , 90 |menu=yes|width=150px|text=maps:}} || count: 0 || count: 51
{{tip| 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 22 , 23 , 25 , 27 , 28 , 30 , 31 , 33 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 39 , 42 , 44 , 45 , 48 , 53 , 54 , 55 , 56 , 57 , 58 , 59 , 61 , 62 , 63 , 64 , 65 , 67 , 68 , 70 , 71 , 72 , 73 , 74 , 76 , 79 , 85 , 87 , 89 , 90 |menu=yes|width=150px|text=maps:}}
|-
| bgcolor="#f1efe5"|solved these levels where all other solvers failed || || ||
|-
| bgcolor="#f1efe5"|failed on these levels where all other solvers solved || || ||
|- bgcolor="#f1efe5"
! total solved || 42 || 78 || 27
|- bgcolor="#f1efe5"
| total failed || 48 || 12 || 63
|}

I think it's a good idea, isn't it ?

Matthias

I think it's a good idea that we add a column for "author".
I added this column to the table.

Discussion topic:
Do you think we should name all of the summary pages (and links) without the level set's name ?

I think it's better not to use the author's name.
For example, for the Sven collection, we have:
Solver Statistics - Sven Egevad

This is ok if we have only one set from this author.
For authors (i.e. David W Skinner) with multiple level sets, this won't work.
As a work around now, I appended a number after the author's name.

I think we should really change this to use the level set name instead of
the author's name. Furthermore, we are really referring to the results of
using a particular level set.

So, I think a link should be like this: (again using Sven as an example)
Solver Statistics - Sven level set

And for David W Skinner, we have these:
Solver Statistics - Microban level set
Solver Statistics - Mas Microban level set
Solver Statistics - Sasquatch level set

instead of:
Solver Statistics - David W Skinner
Solver Statistics - David W Skinner 2
Solver Statistics - David W Skinner 3

This will make it easier to create the link with a logical/reasonable format and won't have any collision.
Please let me know if you like this idea or not.

You are right. It doesn't make sense to use names like "David W Skinner 3" ...
We should use the set name instead. The new author column shows the author name - that's enough.
